12oz can from my brother. Near black pour, bubble beige head. Aroma is roasty, coffee, and chocolate. Taste is sweet, cocoa, bitter, almost syrupy. Fairly thick.

12 ounce can. Jet black pour. Small creamy tan head. Roasted malt nose hints at fireplace ash and espresso. Flavor upfront is bittersweet chocolate, charred wood and black coffee. Notes of brown sugar and honey as well. Excessively bitter. Warming alcohol kicks in as brew warms.
