Fruity aroma of citrus, orange peel, grapefruit, pine, malts, some resin. Flavour is fruity and hoppy with a long lasting bitterness in the aftertaste. Nice thick body. This DIPA has the kind of balance between fruits and malts that I enjoy the best. Well done, Rooie Dop.

Bottled. Amber colour with a mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is citrus, some alcohol, some zest, mild toasted and grainy tones with some spiciness as well. Flavour is quite much following the same pattern, ending quite nicely sweetish bitter. Some slight yeasty tones too.

Bottle from World Beer Market. Aroma is boozy, sharp citrus fruitiness, grapefruit, plasticine! Taste is nice, initial light citrus bitterness, sweet and boozy, malty, and then a hop burn at the end. Minerals. I like this as it slowly reveals it's stuff rather than slaps you in the face. Something a little creamy about the finish too later on down. Pineapple, keep finding that in beers at the moment. I like it!

Bottle. Amber color. Soft tropical fruit and some oily hops in the aroma. Malty sweet, soft oily hopbitter flavor with peach, citrus, mango. Very well balanced. The alcohol is well hidden. Good and tasty DIPA.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, amber colour with a short and off-white foamy head. Fruity hoppy and mildly piney aroma with notes of cough syrup, citrus zests and black tea, backed by a mildly caramelly malty touch. Sweet-bitter flavour, full bodied with a soft carbonation. Syrupy malty and juicy fruity, slightly piney hoppy taste with notes of ripe fruits, even exotic accents; balanced bitter-sweet and lasting finish with a muted alcoholic strength. Quaffable. 20.VI.15

Bottle at 100 piv. Aroma lots of hops, citrusy. Also lots of maltiness, biscuity, toffee. Hazy deep orange colour. Stable head. The most noticeable thing for me here is the overall intensity of all the flavours. Same as in aroma, not overly complicated, but rich, rather full bodied but also rather bitter. Very high bitterness overcomes high residual sweetness. Alcohol is noticeable yet feels mellow, adding a layer of pleasant warmth. Excellent.
