In collaboration with the Wilton House we crafted this ported based on two historic recipes. The first is a Spruce Beer recipe we found in “The Virginia House Wife” circa 1831 by Mary Randolf. The second, pulled from the Smithsonian archives, is George Washington’s recipe for a Molasses, Grain, and Hops based Porter.
