Bottled 330ml. -at Bar Cameral Koper. Black coloured, medium sized cappuccino head, light chocolate and hint of licorice in the nose. Pleasant roasted malt, chocolate and licorice with notes of spices and discreet touch of coffee in rather bitter finish. Nice one but honestly expected (and also had) better from De Molen.

Black with beige head. Lots of smoke, some ash, dry malts and a hint of espresso. Quite dry and sour, with a light sweet kick and deep roasted bitter finish. Medium to light bodied. The sourness is a bit weird, but overall it’s OK.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Dark brown body with no head or lacing. Aroma of nuts, weak coffee and a smokey hint. Flavour reminds me of Ferrero Rocher chocolate. Faint spices on the finish. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Very light carbonation. This is like a cross between between a Porter and a Bitter. This bottle was 5.2% ABV.
