Can shared by Marcus. Pours chocolate brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma of chocolate, lactose and earthiness. Just a slight hint of old fashioned linoleum paste. Which isn’t a bad thing; I was an addict as a child. It’s mostly earthy chocolate with a lactose note. Nice, but not overly exciting.

16 ounce can. Pours a dark brown color with a perfect finger high creamy tan head. Rich roasted malt nose. Notes of chocolate and ash. Silky mouthfeel. Bittersweet chocolate and charred wood. Boozy, Rich and satisfying. Resiny hop finish leaves a lingering bitter aftertaste. Shake it, don't break it!

Pour is a dark black with a small tan head. I did not shake the can like it said, maybe a bigger head would have shown up. Aroma is a decent char and lactose sweetness. Flavor is an equally nice roasted and char with some bitter baked chocolate. It did not really foam up like a nitro beer, again I did not shake the can, but it did have that nice creamy mouth feel of a nitro stout.

16 oz can poured into a tulip. Courtesy of friends, thanks Mike/Stu! Black with nice cascading tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, caramel, cocoa, malt. Tastes of roasty notes, bitter cocoa, dark chocolate, malt. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Slightly creamy mouthfeel.
