Bottle shared at Ratebeer Tokyo W & CB Tasting. Thanks to that random dude who cracked a bottle for us. Lovely tart nose with oaky and light cobweb notes but strawberry, cherry and gooseberry dominating. Spritzy carbonation with a creamy oak mouthfeel that heads into the finish and lingers. Dry finish. Very nice.

Bottle: Golden, hazy, big and slowly collapsing loose white head; mainly sourish apples in the nose, some vinegar, some yeast and some cellary notes in the background; moderate to solid sour flavour with a slight malty-yeasty touch; sourish peachy and cellary finish. Quite good, but I expected more…

Shared bottle at Grünerløkka Mikrobryggeri, Oslo. Pours dark golden with big white head. Aroma of coins (metallic), fruit, some sulfur. Tastes watery with some sourness and a slightly sweet-salty finish. Highly carbonated. A bit disappointing, but could work as a substitute for champagne.

Borefts VII. Day 1. Bottle share. Thanks to ? Hazy gold beer, no head. Palate is light, dry and finely crisp. Gueuzey lemon sourness and a little wet wood to boot. Light dry finish brings mild dried fruits. Not bad.
