Named after a famous local mountain – Schiehallion (pronounced ‘She-hal-i-on’) presented a huge challenge – creating a Pilsner the Czech would be proud of. Brewed with lager malt and Hersbrücker and Challenger hops. Fermented with a lager yeast.

0,5 l bottle. Pours crystal clear light golden with a finger of quickly dissipating white head. Aroma of malt, light bread, light honey, light grainy with nice hoppy twist, citric, pine, fruity. Taste is light to medium sweet with medium bitterness. Body is medium, texture almost oily. Carbonation is average. Finish is long, malt, light honey are complemented with pleasant herbal bitterness. Well rounded and nicely drinkable.

33cl bottle. A clear pale golden beer with a huge most good lasting white head. Mild citrusy hoppy aroma, hints of grainy malt, dry malty. Taste of mild citrusy hops, citrons, pale malt, mild bitterness, overall boring but good drinkable.

Creamy white head stayed well on a hazy straw coloured, still body. Very smooth on the palate - minimal carbonation. This is a creamy lager - like a cross between a bitter and a lager. Mildly hoppy, grassy & hints of yeast. For a lager this is good.
