Can from Tavour. Pours dirty hazy gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma is heavily citrus. Med plus body. Dryish and at least moderately bitter. Flavor is citrus and melon. Maybe some white berry. Some pricklish thing that might be passion fruit. An earthy note towards the finish. Not saying the flavor is great, but it is solid. I'd drink it again.

Aromas are fresh old school hops and malt. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, bittersweet, and just a hint of the old powdered juice drink mix Tang. I drank Tang a number of times as a kid and remember finding out that the astronauts back then used it. It was supposed to be a dry version of orange juice. This beer doesn't take taste much like it at all. Maybe a hint. Good beer but not much like Tang.

16 oz can poured, picked up at Hop and Hound. I keep missing Trap Door on my Vancouver area stops on my way to Portland, so I'm glad these cans recently showed up at my local. A juicy golden orange pour, thin fizz head that slowly fades. Tang is a fitting name, though not completely obvious, or hitting the nostalgic flavor of my childhood. I actually hoped it wouldn't. This is good the way it is. Orange fruit nose. Flavor is a dusty, orange fruit hop flavor. Low bitter, not sweet either. Refreshing IPA for sure, and lighter than the imperial bill suggests. Enjoyable juicy IPA here.

On tap at Trap Door, pours an opaque cloudy filthy orangey yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of pithy stone fruit, dirty yeast and resinous hops. Flavour is very pithy, with lots of stone fruits, tons of yeast, chalk and resinous hops. This is everything gone wrong about this NE-style: way too dirty and yeasty. Poor Vancouver hipster culture.
