Butty Bach is a Welsh term meaning ‘little friend’ – and this charmingly smooth premium ale has certainly made more than a few friendships in its time. We brew it using Maris Otter and Crystal malts together with locally grown Fuggles, Goldings and Bramling Cross hops. With such fine ingredients, no wonder it remains a firm favourite.

Bottle. Golden beer with a steady head. The aroma is fruity and slightly peppery, and the flavour is nicely dry and slightly fruity. Overall a nice beer.

Bottle from Sainsburys. Orange copper colour with thin off white head. Peach apricot aroma some hop and toffee, ok in mouth, richness with caramel and toffee towards the end of the pa late. Hops and acids on the finish

[Cask at Gullivers, Copenhagen] An amber beer with a small beige head. The aroma is lighty fruity. The flavor is nicely fruity, slighlty sweet with notes of flowers and fresh hopflowers. It ends on a light bitterness.
