Big Oyster Brewery Fan Favorite, the Noir et Bleu isn’t just your standard Belgian Tripel. Cold steeped with dried blueberries and black tea from the Spice and Tea Exchange in Rehoboth Beach, this beer provides a pleasant aroma of blueberry with just a hint of black tea on the back of the palate. This beer is both complex and deceivingly crushable. This beer is also a favorite of Big Oyster Staff! It’s a wonderful beer to enjoy during any time of year, and is a great introductory beer for wine drinkers into the quickly growing craft beer scene!

Can thanks to Stuu666. Appearance - hazy to cloudy yellow to brown. Creamy white head. Nose - light banana, herb, orange and floral honey. Taste - rich honey with an edge of dark fruit and herb. Palate - medium bodied, tangy middle and fairly sweet finish. Overall - too sweet for the style bit still pleasant.

32oz growler from Delaware Growler. Color is clear dim gold. Small head turns to lacing and a bit spit like atop the surface. One of the reasons I bought this growler was that after the sample taste I knew it wasn’t super estry or sweet, which are amazing elements for and American tripel. Aroma is is mild for style with dough, light confectionery sugar, cotton candy, faint peach esters. Flavor finishes with light alcohol burn in the throat. Medium body with light carbonation, fits well with the structure of the beer a really nice version, no tea or blueberry for me but the idea is fun.
