Hoppy Belgian-Style Ale

Mischief is a hoppy Belgian-style golden strong ale. This wickedly good golden ale is fiendishly dry-hopped with American hops to add a layer of complexity and mystery to its fruity, dry Belgian-style character. Citrus and resin diabolically combine with ripe melon, pear and slight peppery spice in a precariously effervescent mixture. Enjoy it, but you’ll want to keep an eye out.

Serve from bottle. Aroma is lemongrass, bread and apricot. Flavour is a bit too sweet. Starts with bitter orange but then it’s washed away by Belgian candy flavour. Good, but could be better.

Shared 750 ml bottle. Pours deep gold and hazy with a white head and moderate lacing. Aroma of honey, yeast, breads, and spice. Taste is honey, Belgian yeast, bread, and spice with very strong floral elements. Maybe a tiny hint of bubblegum and citrus. Finish is dry and a bit hoppy. Good.
