The Lupulus Hibernatus is a dark strong beer. At the end of the boiling, the brewers add a pinch of cinnamon. The mix with torrefied barley brings this beer a powerful character. The After-taste is at the same time bitter-sweet, and finish on coffee aromas.

Bottle 33 cl (02/10/2018). Dark brown, hazy, with a very rich creamy head. Good aroma: malty, caramel, prunes and other dried fruits, wine, a little cinnamon and other spices, sweet, Christmas pies with berry filling. Taste: sweetish, caramel, chocolate, a little toffee, jam, dried fruits, a little cinnamon and wood, warming, mild carbonation.

Almost black beer, a head is big and beige. Aroma has sweet dried fruits, then some balancing roastiness and liquorice. Taste has sweetness, dried fruits, roastiness, fudge. Medium+ bodied. This is interesting and quite unique beer. Funny. Success.

Last one from reserves... Smell- weak to medium, malt, caramel, Belgian yeast. Foam- malt, Belgian yeast, caramel, bitter tones. Head is large, medium-dark brown color. Appearance - generic dark blue bottle cap, somewhat simple label, but I like it. Clear, dark ruby color. From - pint Taste - malty, Belgian yeast, caramel, weak hops, weak bitter tones, bit herbal. Overall OK Belgian.
