Belgian Saison brewed with local barley, wheat and rye from Riverbend Malt House of Asheville, North Carolina and aged on local bull’s blood beets from Bluebird Farm of Morganton, North Carolina. Dry hopped with a blend of Cascade and Mt. Hood hops. Expect notes of dirt/earth/soil, citrus hops and fragrant Belgian yeast.

From tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016 - Yellow session. Hazy golden orange pink color with off white head. Aroma is yeasty, herbal and fruity, some floral notes, vegetables, some funky notes. Sweet taste like aroma. Light to medium oily body with soft carbonation.

[5/13/16] Draught sample at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016. Yellow session. Clear orange. Aroma of beets. Dry flavor, a bit tart, spicy, with beets and some bitterness. Rather light-bodied.

Tap@Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016, Copenhagen - amber pour with white pink head. Aroma and taste is herbal and floral hoppy, beets, light grassy, notes, herbal notes of dandelion, nettles. Not for me.

Tap @CBC16. Salmon coloured with small bubbles. Aroma has beetroot and plums. Fruity, sour flavour, beets and plums. Plum skin. Bitter. Ok but very interesting.

Sample at CBC 2016. Pinkish with a pink head. Quite sour with beetroot, light herbs, funk and some malt. The finish was dryish. Drinkable but a special one.

CBC2016. Fast klare leuchtend orange Farbe. Geruch nach roten Früchten, rote bete, trocken. Geschmack trocken, erdig, rote Beeren.

Tap@ CBC 2016. Light reddish color, thin pink head. Beets clearly in aroma, earthy, some gravel. Beets in flavor as well. Not for me.

Draft. A pink beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of beerroot, lemons, and brett, leading to a tart finish.
