Sample during Blarney Wine Festival on 03/17/2012. Dark copper-amber color with a medium thin bone white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Sparse patches of lace. Aroma of bourbon, malt, caramel, fruit and hops in the nose. Full-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, ripe fruit and earthy hops. The finish is bourbon with a grainy malt aftertaste. Solid Barley Wine overall after a few years of aging.
