Faxe Premium is a classic international premium lager with a smooth, distinctive taste. The combination of the finest malt, hops and own water results in a all-malt premium beer, which is full-bodied, but at the same time pleasantly mild with a round taste and a smooth mouthfeel. A crisp and well-balanced lager beer.

1000ml can from Vinmonopolet, Langnes, shared with Finn. Clear, golden-straw coloured body. Fine lacing rings down the glass from a diminishing white head. Lager aroma of pale malts added by dried fruits. Taste of grassy hops and grain. Some bitter, hoppy endnotes. Soft carbonated. Medium minus bodied. On par with the style. Alright as a partner to our pizza (at Finns, Tromsø 08.05.2013).

Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of malts, light banana. Sweet malty flavour. Finish malts and bread.
Not great, not completely awful either.
(From 1L can @ home. Thanks Jeffrey/Thomas)

Canette 500ml.

Can. Pours fizzy and clear pale golden with quickly disappearing white head. Faint, hoppy and bready aroma. Bitter taste of hops. Watery mouthfeel. Richly carbonated. Nothing special, but drinkable.

Doesn’t taste all that bad really. A little bit, malty, obviously super high carbonatio. There’s some sort of saaz hops taste here unless my senses betray me. Actually had to think quite a lot about this one to teach someone how to rate beer. Too bad it was this one he started on. At the rhino.

Can, 1 liter, at RBNAG-11. A clear, golden beer, topped by a dense, off-white head of two-finger size. Grainy and fruity nose, rather uninteresting, but at least not foul. Fruity flavor with pale malts, not much bitterness kicking in, although there’s some towards the end. Medium body, quite low on carbonation for an industrial lager, which is good. Overall, surprisingly good, but I don’t think I’ll revisit in the near future. Had it twenty years ago, think I’ll wait at least that long until the next time. 111015
