N'ice CHOUFFE is the winter beer from the Achouffe Brewery. We recommend that you enjoy it from mid-October to mid-February, preferably by the fireplace. It is a dark beer, slightly hoppy, spiced with thyme and curaçao, and made using orange peel. It has an alcohol content of 10%. N’ice CHOUFFE goes well with any winter dishes.

330ml bottle. Mohagany brown pour with reddish highlights. Small creamy tan head. Earthy, sweet, dark dried fruit nose. Sweet, toasted malt flavor upfront. Notes of Belgian yeast, Candi sugar, dark, dried fruits, Kirschwasser, toffee and perhaps orange peel. Hard to distinguish the individual spices. I detect a hint of allspice and clove, but not Thyme as indicated in the beer description. Alcohol becomes more noticeable as brew warms. Very enjoyable.
