Did we choose the name Elephant to honour the statues that guard our brewery gates, or because it's a beer you'll remember forever? Pale gold in colour, Elephant is rich in malty character, with a hint of caramel, balanced by a satisfyingly dry bitterness. Once enjoyed, never forgotten!

Yellow color with lager aroma. Taste is full bodied with a sweet malt flavor, followed by a spicy, crisp mild bitterness at the finish. Much better than regular Carlsberg.

Wersja 7,5%. Barwa złota w kierunku jasnego bursztynu. Pianą obfita, ładnie oblepia szkło. W aromacie słód i jakby skarpetka. W smaku słodowe, alkohol dobrze ykryty. Dość treściwe. Dużo lepsze od wersji Extra Strong, bardziej pijalne, mniej ordynarne.

Aromas are dry grain, malt, honey and a little hops. Flavors are similar to nose, bittersweet. Full-bodied for a pilsner and okay carbonation. Good but not great.

0,5 l can bought at the gas station. Bough it just by curiosity not expecting a good beer. For a beer with 7,2 % alcohol it’s pretty ok .Without excessive sweetness or strong alcohol taste.

clear dark golden colour, moderate sized dense white head; aroma of grainy, dried apricot, apple peel, floral honey and slight herbal notes; taste has similar notes to the aroma with metallic bittery notes; not bad at all

Can from a rest area store near Köln. Aroma is mostly just sweetish malt and grains with a hint of alcohol. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a little bitterness in the finish. Body is medium. Very dull sweet malty stuff.

2002: A strong lager with an aquired taste. Not bad! I've had this one mainly from can or fresh bottles in Denmark, thus avoiding the skunkiness our American friends report of. Rerate German brewed version, (adhering to the Reinheitsgebot), ABV 7,5%: The extra 0,3% alcohol certainly doesn't bring anything good to the beer. 7,2% is plenty for a beer with a body as light as this. Stick to the Danish original!
