Did we choose the name Elephant to honour the statues that guard our brewery gates, or because it's a beer you'll remember forever? Pale gold in colour, Elephant is rich in malty character, with a hint of caramel, balanced by a satisfyingly dry bitterness. Once enjoyed, never forgotten!

25 cl. bottle @ home. Procured from ALBO. BBF 30/11/2013. Odd stumpy looking bottle, green & appears to be bigger than 25 cl. probably intentionally. Clear sparkling golden, little white head. Sticky sweet pale lager grains smell, slight corn syrup and some alcohol. Slightly floral. Taste is quite bitter metallic, bitter pale lager grains, alcohol, coming through clearly, slight hops, some syrupy sweetness way below, hint watery, bitter herbs. Bit oily, sticky & somewhat watery as well. Bit hard to dring, crappier than the regular Carlsberg but it has more alcohol which I assume is the main point here.

Heller, wenig würziger Antrunk. Das Bier wird dann deutlich intensiver, wenig hopfig. Spritzig, zum Ende schwerer. Süßlich. OK! 8/8/9/8/5/8

Clear, still, old gold with a thin white head. Sweet grain malt, honey aroma. Honey, grain flavor, very soft and mild. A slight hint of green-bottle..... A little alcohol presence. Very good.

330ml can. Pours dark gold with a large head. Aroma is sweet, rubbery malt. Not a lot of taste, carbonated water and a rubbery alcohol finish.

50 cl. can @ home, bought somewhere in Belgium. This version has 7,5% ABV. Pours old yellow with a white head. Sweet grainy aroma and taste. Your typical strong lager but I had worse.

33cl Can at Kinepolis, Gent. Straight from the can. Aroma of caramel, quinine, tonic, lime, very artificial. Flavour is bitter, grapefruit/orange peel, sweet lime, tonic, quinine bitterness. Very artificial, but still they state only water, barley and hops on the label. Yeah right.. Crap.
