Each year, we select distinctly different barrels for blending, all of which contain 2nd use fruit beers. This 2019 blend of Local Snacks consists of a second fruit blend of black raspberries, cabernet sauvignon grapes, prickly pear cactus fruit and plums.

ABV: 6.4%. Unclear - hazy light to medium red colour with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is wheat, sweet malt, barrel, berries, raspberries, grapes, fruit, fruit peel - fruit skin. Flavor is moderate sweet and acidic with a long duration, tart, berries, barrel, grapes, fruit, plums, fruit skin, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20200208]

2019 blend shared at our Novi share. Thanks Jon! Pours a deep plum colored purple with a small bit of off-white foam that dissipates. Jammy nose with blackberry, plum and muscat aromas. Medium body with some light tannic notes that play well with the fruit and tartness. Smooth and very drinkable. Lingering plum, muscat, blackberry and mineral flavors.
