Sample (from omhper!). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is roasted, some chocolate, mild toffee and some earth and alcohol. Flavour is alcohol, really dark chocolate, some toffee and ashes. A bit too ashy for it's own good.

330ml can bought at Ölstudion. Tan-head, jet black body, clingy lacing. Inviting smell of roasted earthy malts, mid-sweet. Black chocolate up front to the taste buds, hints of earth, liquorice and dark dough. Lingering roasted finish, rather sweet. Decent night cap. (Hotel room, Göteborg 10.08.2022).

Can 33 cl. Pours thick and deep brown with a tiny, rough and strangely lifeless, light brown head. Heavy, sweet chcolate aroma with a hint of vanilla. Rich, sweet body, sweet roast and bitter chocolate witha slight, roasty bitterness. Straight and solid Strong Porter. Don't understand the low ratings. 180522

ABV: 9.5%. Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, dark malt, roasted, ash, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, ash, burnt, wood, sweet malt, dark malt, roasted, anis seed. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming. [20220218]

Can from Systembolaget beställningssortiment. (my first one from this brewery and Swedish rating 5000) Almost black with a small tan head. Roasted malt, ash, chocolate, coffee and some tobacco. Quite long finish.

Solid imperial porter. Plenty of malt and plenty of character. “Full” but very good.
