Really dialed in. The whole thing together is just right. The balance between all the flavors of marshmallow, roast, dark malt, molasses, super balanced.

Super LCI/FLM, but I had been wanting to try this forever and didn't want to forget that we popped it at mikes. Also backdating is a PITA so yeah. Nice subtle vanilla and smoooooth barrel.

2021 Vintage into a taster showing pitch black with sparse latte colored foam.

The nose shows intense notes of biscuits, vanilla, and light oreo.

The palate is moderately carbonated and full bodied with an oily slick mouthfeel. Lightly sweet with strong flavors of vanilla, mocha, and light raisins. Light espresso bitterness on the finish that appears slowly.

Bottle pour, courtesy of good people in line for Side project. Black with brownish head. Intensive dark chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, roasty with moderate sweetness. Full bodied. Deep and complex with great drinkability. Fantastic.

Publick House draught, 10/30/24. 2024 vintage. Possibly clear, dark, with mahogany tones and a brief, tan head. Smells very balanced and gives off a good degree of interesting bourbon. Vanilla softens, enriches, builds complexity. Fudgey, chocolatey malts seem reasonably attenuated and it's not boozey. Well alright then! Imagine a keg of Bourbon Vanilla DL lasting 4 days in Boston. My how the times have changed. In flavor, yep, this is top-notch. Rich, succulent fudge augmented by rich, comforting vanilla bean. Spicy bourbon with a bit of tannin and cigar. Excellent body and depth of malt without being too sweet or syrupy. Well wtf, man. Why are the other 3F's stouts so mediocre-to-bad these days?? They just go all-in on this one, I guess.

On tap at Argus. Pours an oily black with no head whatsoever. Aroma has earthy dark grains, roast and vanilla with a nice bourbon backbone. Flavor has a combination of chocolate and vanilla with earthy roast, dark grains and bourbon supporting.
