Tap at Max’s. Hazy yellow, small white head, little lacing. Aroma of hay and light spice. Mushy thin body, malts dominate, but not well balanced.

Bottle, 33cl. There’s some microfloaties in this more or less golden beer, else it is clear. The head is quite small, dense and off-white. Fruity nose with some notes of tea. Spices, citrus, some orange, and malts in the background. The flavor is much the same, but with hints of something mint-like. Fine bitterness. Fruity, bitter finish. Medium, effervescent mouthfeel. A quite nice and easy drinking beer. (090522)

(33cl bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a big but non-persistent frothy white head. Light-sweet malty and citrus-fruity nose with with peppery yeasty and hoppy notes. Light-sweet flavour, only light to medium body impression with an almost fizzy carbonation. Slightly grainy and strong yeasty fruity taste with peppery spice. Rather dry, slightly grainy malty and spicy finish (27.II.09).

Bottle from Dranken Geers. Yep, it’s a blond. But it could be one of a hundred Belgian blonds. Perfectly drinkable and I’m quite happy to drink it, it just lacks distinctive character.

Bottle: Poured a golden color at first but hazed up orange after settling in the glass, had a huge creamy off white head. Aroma is a bit citrus and spices. Taste was a metallic hop and fruit with a nice soft finish that made this a balanced beer.
