Conviviale et facile à appréhender, la bière la Gouyasse se caractérise par sa légère amertume et son goût fruité mais pas trop. La Gouyasse est en vente principalement dans la région d’Ath. La Goliath Blonde, sa soeur jumelle, est en vente dans le reste de la Belgique et à l’étranger.

Hazy orange with small head.Aroma is sweet fruity with note of spices and flavor brown bread and caramel,low carbonation and a short finish.

33 cL bottle, trade with Dedollewaitor - thanks Mads. Pours hazy orange with a huge off-white head. Small yeast floaties. Mild caramel malt with yeast spiced aroma. Sweet caramel malt, goes into a dry yeasty spiced and light hoppy flavour. Finish holds a mix of bitterness and a light spice note.6-3-7-3-13=3.2

75 cL bottle, as Goliath. Pours almost clear and golden yellow with a huge white head. Light cornish to grassy hops aroma. Mild sweet malty with a distinct grassy hops note. Light mellow yeasty flavoured with a light phenolic touch mixed with a light caramel malt base flavour. Dry and slight phenolic finish.6-3-7-3-13=3.2

Bottle. Frothy white good mostly deminishng head. Orange colour. Heavy malty and hoppy nice aroma. Light yeasty. Nice powerrfull moderate bitter flavor. Fruity esternotes. Average finsih. Oily palate.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are sweet fruit, citrus, malt and yeast. Lively mouthfeel.

Hazy amber with huge white head. Sweet fruity aroma with yeasty and orange peel notes. Sweet malty flavor with oranges, peaches, corainder and yeast.

[i] Bottle at Trappistenhuis, Gent 07-12-07 [/i] Pours mid golden in colour and a bit murky with a white head. A very assured beer that’s not overly spicy good yeastiness and drying on the end, quite impressive for it’s simplicity and a jolly decent ale.

Bottle from Hopduvel, Gent. Golden coloured with a decent white head. Aroma of sweet malt, herbs and yeasty. Flavour had some spice, caramel and a touch of floral hops. Good.

Bottled@SBWF2007. Hazy golden colour with mediumsized white head. Aroma is acidic fruits, some yeast and caramel malts. Flavour is acidic fruits, earth and some spices. Spices and metal in finish.

Clear orange with fine full creamy lasting head. Aroma is sweet of fruits & malts. Sprinkly almost lively carbonation. Yeasty notes. Medium bodied. Dry bitter end. Rather simple but very enjoyable!

(Sampled at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007) Shady straw yellow color, fluffy white head. Spicy herbal scent. Yeasty spicy and metallic taste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness.
