330 ml bottle. Pours a hazy, golden amber with a medium, frothy, off-white head that laces. Fruity aroma of peach, grapefruit, mango, pine needles and a faint cedar note. Sweet flavour of tropical fruit, citrus, pine needles, resin and a weak cedar note with a dry, bitter, hoppy finish. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Nicely done.

330 ml bottle. Pours a hazy amber with moderate head. Aromas of spruce/cedar, soap, and dough. Big woody cedar flavor with underlying pineapple, citrus, and chewy malt notes. Different and interesting though I don’t think I could handle more than one at a sitting.

Bottle. An unclear, dark golden-orange beer with a small, dense, off-white to light beige head. The aroma has lots of mango and tropical fruits, but also something unpleasant I don’t recognize. Vegetables, dust or something similar. Old hoppyness perhaps. It’s full to medium bodied with a pleasant carbonation. Bitter flavor with resins, citrus and pine cones. Lasting finish. Rather unpleasant aroma, at least some of it, but the flavor is nice. 150328

33 cl. bottle poured in to a Tulip. Hazy, amber colour with a golden tint. Dense , creamy off-white head. Good looking. Fruity aroma with sweet, exotic fruits, pines, citrus fruits, some floral hops. The cedar shows as a dry, wooden note with a spicy touch. Taste is bitter. Medium to full body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Rather rich for an IPA. Finishes dry and bitter-fruity with exotic fruits, citrus and a slight toasted note. Very delicious IPA.

On tap @ BierCab. This one pours a almost amber colored cloudy body with a huge near fluffy lacing head. Smells absolutely lovely. Near flawless. It's really sweet and infused with intense red berries, malts and stingy grassy hops. Oh, this is how a IPA should smell. Remind me to bug the brewers on the recipe on this one, cause this is nice. Tastes darn nice also. It has a nice oily, near sticky feeling in the mouth and it's spot on perfect on the carbonation. Again, it's on the malty red berry path in the taste. A good amount of bitterness in this one. It's almost a little chalky also, but that's not disturbing it in any significant way. It's piney and resinous as well. Slightly soapy butter towards the finish. All in all a really fine one, like a blend between an imperial amber and a fresh IPA. 10.08.2014
