Soft orangey copper body and little foam, nothing on the nose. flavour is chewy yeast and heavy sweet grain. Full finish. Disjointed and lacking balance, like two pieces of an orchestra looking for the other eighty.

Caramel and some plum. Clearish orange with a decent white head. Sweet caramel, dried fruit and a light bitterness. Decent.

On tap at 33 EXP, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out woody notes upfront, with a light herbal character, and dry biscuity notes. Flavour is quite woody, with toasted biscuity malt and wood. I don't get any conventional maibock notes here. It's a bit mineraly and a touch cardboardy, but nothing too detracting. Fun experiment.
