Gusjebrun tåkete med tynt beige skum. Brunt sukker, karamell og kakao. Smaker søt karamell og sjokolade og noe bitterhet i slutten.

Bit better than the usual honey beers, thanks to the spices and different malts. Still a little sweet though.

33cl bottle, gusher, well I guess that’s a continuing issue with this brwery, at least this one did not explode like another Bie did in my cellar. Bottled on 11/2012.

Bottle from Asao. Spicy nose, licorice, chocolate, cherry, dust, raisins. Black with a low, fine tan head. Dark chocolate, dried fruit, licorice, relatively strong bitterness, light roast. Soft sky body, soft, fine carbonation. Nice, complex and good.

33cl bottle. Dark brown colour with a frothy and creamy tan head, perfect lasting and nice lacework. Aroma is caramelish, toasty and sweet. Flavour is sweet, toasty, caramel, slightly yeasty and a final with a moderate bitterness. Carbonation is medium. Body is medium to high. Texture is oily.

0.33l bottle kindly provided by BelgBeerGeek. Thanks man! Slowly gushing out of the bottle, and in the glass this is a deep brown one with a lasting medium sized beige head. It smells rich and sweet with caramel, cocoa powder, yeast and some dried concentrated glazed fruits. Nice stuff! It's average to lively carbonated with a mild oily to watery texture. The bottle is from 2008, and it might be a bit past it's peak. Kinda oxidized with sweet flavors, more cocoa powder, light yeasty and fruity as well with a tone of chocolate and honey in the finish. Actually a really tasty one this, but as mentioned, think it perhaps could be past it's prime. 30.06.2012
