After a long wait, our Special Reserve No.5 is pretty much ready. it’s an 8.4% big, bold, double IPA. It’s fresh, piney, big-bodied and with a bitterness that’ll slap you in the chops.

Pours an almost clear, copper colour, little head. Aroma is a rather peculiar mix of intense herbal hops and exotic fruit. Maybe papaya, guava. Also citrus fruit. Unusual but nice. Big body. Flavour is more bold than aroma, more intense and less exotic. Really nice maltiness with quite a bit of sweetness. Lot of bitterness balances it out though. The hops is very pronounced, again very herbal and very fruity. Quite some resin but not too much. Finishes medium long, bitter, sweet. Really nice Imperial IPA, enjoyed it a lot!

33cl bottle from Sip, Tallinn. Pours clear deep golden with a moderate, white head. Herbal hoppy aroma with pine, citrus peel, grass and some fruity notes. Medium sweet with medium flavour intensity and a solid bitterness. Strong, bitter, flavourful and quite enjoyable.
