Tap at Jolly, Zhongzheng, Taipei. Poured a slightly hazy light amber colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is malt, herbal. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a light, grainy, sweet, biscuit, light warm alcohol bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. Absolutely nothing like a Scotch Ale.

Ketchup and caramel. Cloudy copper with a small beige head. Sweet caramel and a thin bitter finish. Bleh.

On tap at Jolly Brewery & Restaurant, pours a fairly clear amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out light toasted caramel and cheap bready notes. Flavour is much the same, with light, sweet caramel. Lacking body and oomph. Weak stuff.
