This is a Berliner Weisse inspired by the good old juice filled strawberry hard candy. Just like its cousin Berry Belly, we tried to pack in as much fruits as possible except that this time when we got to 477.5 kgs of strawberry, raspberry, pink guava, and boysenberry, the berries started to spill over the rims of our tank's side manway. Vanilla and lactose was added to give it some residual sweetness and candy-like characters.

On tap at The Ale Project, pours a deep dark amber red with a small beige head. Aroma is not subtle at all, screaming out with notes of strawberry, raspberry and guava - I think I get some vanilla, and there is a nice lacto character underneath. Flavour is juicy and fruity, with lots of the aforementioned berries, followed by tropical guava notes, gentle tartness, and light lacto. Bit of a mineraly character, but it's fitting here. Excellent fruited berliner.
