Bottle. Orange tinted brown. No head. Nice, sweet aroma. Too sweet in taste. Caramel, slightly fruity. Does have a cognac taste. Good stuff.

0.33 l bottle. Pours clear golden with quickly disappearing head. Honey, reisin, alcohol, bitter and sweet notes in aroma. In taste first comes the sweetness and then dry bitterness. Heavy on body, softly carbonated. Good one.

pour a deep golden color. Doppelbock eh? pretty light colored..........not what i was expecting. Aroma is sweet malt, caramel, and i’m getting a touch of sweet apples. Flavour is BOOZE. wow.
Some sweet malt comes through after the booze punch. Wow, this is interesting. After you get anihilated by the booze, the flavour developes, and you get some sweet malt, a touch of hops, and a little bit of fruit, like apple, and plum. NOt a bad beer, but i wouldn’t say this is a dopelbock.......maybe more a euro strong lager?

Bottle at home. Aroma of grains, sweet malt, caramel, syrupy, sweet dried fruits, some apple notes, alcohol. Flavour is massively cloying sweet. Body is medium. Sweet and sticky in the mouth. Nasty evil sweet alcoholic stuff.
