Tropical fruit golden sour
Momona is the Hawaiian word for pleasant tasting, and this beer lives up to its name. Packed full of passionfruit, fresh orange zest and pink guava puree, this POG Sour is bursting with tropical flavour and aroma. We collaborated on this beer with Vancouver Island Brewing, one of the pioneers in the BC craft brewing industry, setting the stage for the craft scene as it exists today. Momona blends these tropical fruits with a golden sour base, providing a clean malt backbone with a bright acidity. So, enjoy Momona and let it take you on a trip to the island.

Guava and tropical notes. Cloudy gold with a small white head. Soured guava and a light touch of soap. Pleasant.

Cloudy orange body and little foam, sour funk on the nose with ethyl alcohol notes lingering, some sweet fruit skin. Flavour is sour muddled fruit skin, no sweetness. Cloying, kind of ugly, nothing to make it bright.
