Smooth malty beginning. Nice bitter but fresh and grainy. Aromatic with lots of grain, but round and nice bitter. The aftertaste is grainy-smooth, nice intense bitter with not too much depth, but fresh and sessionable.

Bottled@Oud Arsenaal, Antwerp. Golden colour, small white head. aroma si floral, some bready notes along with herbs to it. Flavour is fruity, floral, some herbal and yeasty notes as well. Surprisingly fruity and refreshing for a Czech style pils...

33 cl bottle (5.2%) @ Oud Arsenaal, Antwerp. Aroma has sweet citrusy tones and some grass. Also honey and grain. Flavour has grain, grass, cereal, mild apricot and biscuits. A pils in Belgian way.

Light orange. 2 finger sticky white head. 375ML bottle I picked up today at the brewery. Aroma is weak. maybe hay and grass and lemon. I’m not a fan of the taste though. has an old hops taste, some burnt malts, not refreshing. it does have a good yeast profile but that’s all.

Pour is a ugly looking murky yellow greenish with a large white head. Aroma is typical lager grainy malt with a crisp cracker. Flavor is dry malt a light hopping but some wet paper bag is there as well. Fancy bottle but nothing special.

Bohemian style Pilsener, a style seldomly seen in Belgium. Clear, deep golden blonde, stable, snow white head; malt sweetish character, a bit bready, with sharp carbonation and noble, grassy, aromatic hop bitterness in the finish. Very decent - in fact, one of the better Belgian lagers I had so far, though admittedly that doesn’t usually mean a whole lot.
