Deadhead is one of four offspring orca's born to Skagit (K-13). She was named to honor the passing of Jerry Garcia, the leader of the rock band The Grateful Dead. Deadhead had her first offspring, Ripple (K-44), in July 2011. Many times, when the K13 family is with J or L pods, Deadhead and Ripple spend time with the mothers and offspring who are close in age to Ripple.

473ml can. Pours a hazy gold-yellow with a medium, frothy, long lasting, off-white head that laces. Mild, fruity aroma of bready pale malt, peach, orange, grapefruit peel and piney hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready caramel malt, orange, grapefruit peel, peach, mango and piney hops in a dry, mild bitter, hoppy finish. Light body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Refreshing and crushable.

Smells of sweet sugary and heavy hops, has a cloudy yellow body with a bit of foam. Flavour is crisp and dry hops with a hint of sweetness. Mouthfeel is full, good oiliness. It's a decent hazy though not exceptional.
