Pod Pack, a collaboration between local island breweries with the objective of helping to preserve our coastal wildlife. The tall can mix pack is in support of the Pacific Salmon Foundation and one dollar from every Pod Pack will be donated to preserving Wild B.C. Salmon stocks, a vital food source for our southern resident killer whales. The name of each individual brew is the namesake of one of our southern resident killer whales.

• Rainshadow is the fourth offspring of Sequim (K-12). Six years after his birth his mother had another offspring, Saturna (K-43). His only other living sibling is his sister, Sekiu (K-22). Her offspring is Tika (K-33), who is three years older than Rainshadow. Rainshadow’s dorsal fin is beginning to sprout but he has a way to go to ‘catch up to’ Tika’s.

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy red with a medium, fizzy, short lived, pink head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet aroma of grainy wheat malt, blackberry and raspberry. Sweet flavour of grainy wheat malt, raspberry, blackberry, earthy yeast and floral hops in a crisp, dry, sour finish. Light to medium body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Tasty and refreshing.

Medium sour, medium tart, clean and quite dry, yet fruity. Good beer. Clean. Sk Lb variety pack.

Smells of semi-sweet berries with hints of tannin. Has a nice deep red body with a bit of pink foam on top. Flavour is soft berry, subdued, which is nice. Crisp carbonation on the mouth. It has good fruitiness that's not too overbearing.
