275ml bottle courtesy of JMGreenUK. Gushed a bit. Thin tan head. Clear black pour. Quite a decent porter

Bottle from the brewery. Poured a dark mahogany with a thin off white head. The aroma is weak roasted malt. The flavour is medium bitter with a hoppy slightly watery spicy malt palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A great session beer but not a great beer.

Bottle shared thanks to Jmgreenuk. Pours near black with a medium beige head. Aroma of roast, Chocolate, caramel and grassy hops. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle @ RBESG 2011 Grand Tasting at Dean Swift. Tasty enough porter. Good choc. OK, good balance, good flaovurs.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, fruits, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, roasted malt, leading to a dry finish.

clear brown, small offwhite head. spicy, herbal and roasted malty aroma. flavor is roasted malts, sweet syrupy note, boozy note. ends with notes of liqeur.

Dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, licorice and prunes. Malty aroma with licorice and a hard roasted note.

Bottle @ RBESG 2011 Grand Tasting at Dean Swift, Tower Bridge SE1. Pours a dark brown color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty caramel aroma aroma with nutty hints. Roasted malty caramel flavor with weak yeasty hints. Has a roasted malty caramel finish.

Dean Swift - RBESG Tasting. Hazy brown beer, residual off white head. Light palate, dry. Ok malts. Touch of smoke and a little chocolate and coffee. Semi dry finish.

Bottle at RBESG 2011 Grand Tasting at The Dean Swift, London. Brown pour with a small head. Decent roast character, some brown sugar. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Short roast finish. Straight-ahead porter and pretty solid all around.
