500ml bottle from the brewery via eebria. Pours black with a thick tan head head. Aromas of milk chocolate, light roast coffee. Taste is sweet, light liquorice. Velvety mouthfeel, quite rich, but strangely thin at the end. Good overall.

Bottle at home, from Eebria, 03/05/14. Black with a good sized tan covering that dissipates but retains. Nose is roast malt, earthy cocoa, light spice, dark toffee fudge. Taste is a little thinner, less cocoa, liqourice stick, light tobacco and leather tones, faint roast. Light to medium bodied, a little watery and thin, light dryness in the close. Ok - but nothing special, looks and smells good but falls away on the flavour and feel.

Bottle from the brewery. Poured a dark mahogany with a glass hugging off white head. The aroma is weak malt with a little sweet creamy milk. The flavour is medium bitter with a slightly watery spicy pepper milky palate. A super milk stout and one I could easily drink all night long.

ChrisOs ’Donkey Dork Lord’ Pre-GBBF Tasting. Clear red brown beer with a residual tan head. Light lactose nose. Crispish palate. A light touch of dark malt. Semi dry finish. Should be bland but it’s ok.
