12oz bottle pours a clear, caramel amber with a ring of grey head. Nose has malt and a lot of herbs, witchhazel, some booze, but amaro or vermouth, spices. Flavor follows, lots of anise and witchhazel, malt and booze. The alcohol is clearly whiskey now. Full bodied, boozy finish.

12oz bottle, consumed directly after Hair of the Dog Fred from the Wood. Slightly cloudy deep orange-copper color. Aroma was oak notes, booze was nice and rounded. Bourbon notes, oak, light vanilla. Pretty nice! 12oz bottle at the DC area socially distant Fall 2020 tasting.

Strong bourbon aroma. The malt flavour is rich, sweet, with toasted nuts and marzipan; strong bourbon flavour, and quite some alcohol too.

A hazed reddish amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, beautiful dark fruits, plums, licorice, alcohol warmth, bourbon barrel notes, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with loads of pinot de charente, licorice, alcohol warmth, very nice and complex. Cask Days 2019.

12 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy dark orange amber with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out gentle bourbon upfront, muted by the concrete egg character, and some candied sugar. Flavour is fairly harsh, with boozy bourbon upfront, followed by candied sugar, and a bit of the sort of metallic character from the concrete. Never been a fan of these concrete egg beers, but this one is thankfully tempered by the bourbon. Not bad.

Light brown, just a thin head. There's a soft, sweet malt note, a touch of alcohol, vanilla. Nice alcohol, lots of vanilla, mellow malts, all of it quite rounded. Solid.

Taster shared by Brian with Dima Sh. and others. Appearance: hazy copper with a white head. Aroma: bourbon, caramel, fruits. Taste: similar, boozy, with some green apples. Overall: it's nice, but young. So definitely need more time.
