Bottle from Magasin, Copenhagen - agree with other recent reviews, this definitely does not seem like a ipa to me. It pours a light hazy yellow colour which is overall wheat like, with strong yeast, and only slight hoppy grass notes. Despite the intial dissapointment of different beer style it actually tastes not bad, but still kind of average overall.

Bottle at home. The first thing I notice when I pours the beer in the glass is the formation of a huge head. With its off-white color it collapses into something like egg white. The color of the beer is slightly cloudy light amber. The aroma is dominated by grass, hay, spices, not unlike a pilsener. Pale malt character is also present in the flavour with hints of wet hay, grass, and hops, but also some sweetness. The beer feels quite smooth in the mouth and with light to medium bitterness. An absolute easy-drinking and decent beer, but again I wonder about the interpretation of beer styles by Skands brewery where this beer feels far from an IPA, but perhaps more like a dry pilsener or golden ale.

0.5l bottle. This one pours a clear straw-golden body with a small bubbly white head that quickly fades. The aroma is pale-malty with notes of some dusty hops, champagne soda and hints of something faint acidic. It's average carbonated and it has a medium-oily mouthfeel. The taste is much more like your average+ lager just a bit sweeter and tastier. It's quite malty, light fruit-zesty with some near dust-hoppy tones all the way from beginning to end. No clear off flavors, and in some strange way I find this quite tasty, but no way in Jerusalem this is a IPA in any way, no matter where you come from. 28.01.2012

500ml bottle picket up at my local Vinmonopolet store, Langnes. Pours a fine white head, one-finger sized, and a near-clear golden body. Spotty lacing to the glassware. Ripe oranges and pale malts to the nose. Mid-sweet fruity taste including oranges and apricot joined by dough-like malts. Subdued dry bitter finish. Some refreshments in this, otherwise rather below par for the style (Tromsø, 04.02.2012).

0,5 l. bottle from IRMA supermarket. Hazy, golden-orange colour with a small off-white head, that fades fast. Aroma is sweet: Caramel and moderate hops, and some of the characteristic flavors in IPAs: Grapefruit and pines. Taste is medium sweet with a bitter finish. Medium body with a creamy texture. A good beer, I am missing some more bitterness in the taste - to sweet for its style.

500 ml bottle, bought by my wife on the DFDS ferry Oslo - Copenhagen. ABV is 6.3%. Unfiltered and unpasteurised. Brewed with Maris Otter malts, hop varieties unknown. Golden colour, large white head. Aroma of sweetish malts and grassy hops. The medium sweet flavour has strong notes of grassy hops, with a distinct and sharpish bitterness in the finish. Not much complexity here. Drinkable, but this is no match for first class American IPAs - nor for the best (real) English IPAs. Wouldn’t buy again.
