Bottle. Deep gold with a medium head. Citrus fruit and hop aroma. Dry sourness running through the flavour which overpowers the honey background. Bitter finish.

Flaske 0,5l på DFDS "Queen of Scandinavia" mellom Oslo og København 18 Feb 10. Aprikosfarget. Uklar. Høyt luftig skum som flater helt ut. Forsiktig aroma med appelsin & aprikos. Smaken er også litt forsiktig men med tydelig sitruspreg. Svakt syrlig bitterhet i ettersmaken. En bra IPA.

50 cl bottle. Slightly hazy yellow body with small white head. Flavour is malt, hops and fruit.

Bottled (thanks Timo A!). Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is caramel malts, berries, some honey and fruits. Flavour is bready and caramel malts along with spices and fruits. OK IPA.

Bottle. Poured a dark gold with a white head. Aroma was a bit faint for an IPA, I picked up some pine and floral notes, as well as an unpleasant cleaning supply/soap note. Flavor was basic with a bit of floral and pine notes.

75cl bottle at home. orange, medium sized thick smooth wihte head. mild and faint hoppy aroma profile, faint grape, faint pine, faint flowery hops. a little soapy too. flavor is faint hoppy, toffee, some kind of grassy sweet corny note is ruining the flavor. i just had skipper clements morgenbajer - the svaneke beer is way more ipa like than this one. overall a rather boring beer. 2009 rating : (6,3,5,3,11) re-rate 2020-10-30 25 cl bottle from tasting box. clear light amber, smooth white head. Aroma reminds me a lot of traditional english ipa's, vomit like bitterness, with a sweet flowery note too. it is a acquired taste and it doesn't offend me that much anymore. 5 flavor is bitter flowery, slighly bready, again quite like a traditional english ipa. clean flavor, no butter or the like, if i think english ipa then this is quite fair, the bitterness is there, and the flowery hoppy notes are there. Of course the flavor is totally different from an american ipa, so although the name is the same, this beer tastes a lot differently, more like a herbal-hoppy ale, perhaps a little bit like a hemp ale. If you like english ipa as they tasted in the 1990s then you'll very likely also like this one. 7 mouthfeel, 3, overall 13 2020 rating 5,3,7,3,13 i'll update my rating to the 2020 version.

Draught @ Ølfestival Aarhus 2008.Hazy yellow orange color with a small, frothy, good lancing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, light to moderate hoppy, grapefruit, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (180508)

Bottel in Copenhagen. Deepish orange in hue. Suitably hoppy and malty for an IPA. Pick on the Skands that I tried.

Sample at Aarhus beerfestival. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are hops and flowers.

(Draught at Ölbaren, Copenhagen, 28 March 2008) Golden amber colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with apricots and floral hops. Fruity taste with notes of apricots, citrus and lots of floral hops in the finish. Nice fruity, floral bitterness on a solid malt foundation. Nice and well balanced beer.
