A lemon yellow colour, a head is white and almost medium. Aroma has rich and riped fruits, earthy sourness. Taste is similar than the aroma, strongly riped fruity and earthy, some citrusfruits. Medium+ bodied, that is interesting as the beer has so low alcohol %. Rich beer, beer from the countryside.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 25B). Bottle 35.5 cl - Batch unknown. AROMA: baked beans-like aroma dominates, with some papery notes. very faint orange like aroma. no characteristic brett aromas noticeable APPEARANCE: hazy orange-like color. thin white head with low retention. FLAVOUR: cooked vegetables flavour, mixed with notes of oxidation. non-hop bitterness. dry, powdery and almost astringent finish. PALATE: low body with low carbonation. astringent with a burn-like sensation. OVERALL: a batch that didnt make the trip across the pond.

Gott

Crisp, clear copper and orange coloured body with a very thin, half a centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of brett, lactose, alcohol, funk, tart berries and a touch of sugars - very nice and pungent throughout with that mouthwatering funky smell. Light to Medium-bodied; Sour and funky flavour at first then immediately changes about 3 seconds in and shows only malt and a faint bit of yeast, curacao and coriander seed. Aftertaste shows a lot of bitterness, some metal and malt, a little earthy and caramel note and a bit of yeast/bread at the very end. Overall, an interesting and rather complex beer throughout with some great smells at first that don’t translate to an amazing flavour or finish, though. I sampled this stubby twelve ounce bottle purchased from Southern Season in Charleston, South Carolina on 19-April-2015 for US$4,47 sampled at home in Washington on 16-June-2015.

Tap@ BierBier. Hazy amber colored with a thin white head. Peachy nose, spicy, citrus fruits. Flavor has citrus, peach, wheat and hops. Refreshing, slightly tart, very dry finish. Great stuff.

(Keg at Bier-Bier, 20150603) The beer poured pale golden and lightly hazy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had spiciness, yeast and earth. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were spiciness, earth, sweetness, yeast, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy, hoppy and bitter. A tasty brew with low ABV.
