On tap at Cumberland, pours a clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out caramel malt sweetness upfront, with medium red fruits, and bready toffee. Flavour is very sweet, with candied sugar, caramel, and dark red fruits. Cloyingly sweet, with candied fruits on the finish. Amateur brew.

Has an excellent lasting foam, something too many barley wines lack, and it's on a very nice cloudy mellow brown body. The aroma is all sugary grains and soft barley. Flavour is really nice sweet caramel and molasses. Not overpowering and not heaping alcohol or sugar in your face like so many other barley wines. Mouthfeel is nice and round, not too overbearing. This isn't a high abv barley wine but it hits all the notes well. Memorable.
