On tap at White Sails, pours a clear chestnut brown with a small white head. Aroma reveals toasted chestnuts, a touch of caramel, and bready malt. Flavour is quite malty and toasty, with dry caramel, bready malt and a bit of toasted nuts. Dry caramel and bready malt on the finish. Competent brown but still underwhelming. Decent.

Nutty dark roast. Deep clear brown with a small white head. Nutty and light cola notes. Decent cocoa notes.

On tap at the brewery. Aroma is soft malt. Has decent brown and okay blonde foam. Flavour is okay brown malts, some medium amber grain in there. Palate is full enough, middling crispness. An okay brown ale, serviceable.
