On tap at Sooke Oceanside, pours a clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out toasted nuts, some herbal notes, and gentle caramely bready malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with herbal and vegetal notes, plenty of caramel, and booze. Rather biting, herbal finish. Not bad.

Spiced caramel with some ketchup. Clear gold with a decent white head. Spiced caramel and that light ketchup note and bitterness.
