Golden brown colour. Thin head. Toasty and vaguely nutty. Thin, light brown ale, not really getting it done as a mild.

On tap at Sooke Oceanside, pours a clear copper amber with a small white head. Aroma is correct to style, with English malt, a touch of caramel, and bready malt. Flavour is surprisingly complex for the style, with bready malt, a little caramel, and a solid bitterness to round this off. Dry and malty finish. Very good mild.

Dark fruity notes. Dark copper with a decent white head. Dark fruit and toast. Solid except a bit higher in abv than normal.
