Brewed with well water (the original well at the Old Brewery, sunk in 1758, is still in use, with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground), malted barley, roasted malt, yeast and hops. Fermented in ‘stone Yorkshire squares’.

550ml bottle, pure black with a decent tan head. Chocolate and vanilla aroma, flavour is rich chocolate and coffee

Color marrón muy oscuro con destellos cobrizos. Espuma color marfil, de burbuja grande.
Aromas a malta tostada, café y algo de chocolate.
En boca es una delicia. Carbonatación media, con aromas tostados. Notas a café capuccino, malta tostada y chocolate negro. Gran equilibrio entre el dulce y amargo.
Una porter de mucho nivel, para repetir.

Medium roated malt aroma. Black, small tan head. Lightly bitter, some sourish touch. Light body, a little dry finish.
