A - dark caramel/toffee raisins slight green apple & banana
F - dark toffee/fruit cake with a burnt toffee bitterness slight nuttyness on the aftertaste more bitter than some but that works well

Dark ruby/orange pour with a small, but lasting white head. Aromas of dried/candied fruits, malt, marmalade; taste is similar (adding a hint of cocoa and apple) with a decent bitter finish. The slightly higher ABV works quite well. Very nice.

Fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø, Langnes. Delt med Kai-Ove på Lillehøgda. Mørk amber. Klar. Lavt tett skum. Litt lacing. Aroma av karamell, nøtter & vanilje. Smaken rik. Samme som aromaen - men også tørket frukt. Tørr bitter avslutning.

Bottle from Ocado. Copper coloured pour with a beige head. Nose is fruitcake, glace cherries, toffee, light smoke. Taste is chocolate toffee, fruitcake, toffee apple. Bitter malt & bitter hop fusion in the close.

Bottle from Waitrose. Pours a slightly hazy chestnut brown colour with a large thick creamy off-white head. Aroma is very nutty, with fruit cake, brown bread and caramel. Taste is again nutty with lots more fruit cake, brown bread, caramel and a touch of brown sugar. Perfect bitterness on the finish. Medium to full body with a smooth oily mouthfeel. Fantastic beer and my favourite from Fullers.

Bottle from the Hung Drawn and Quartered, London, split with Rich. Poured clear dark amber with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, fruit, biscuit, fruit loaf and brown sugar. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation. Enjoyable.
