Export version. The Fuller's Indian Pale Ale is audacious as it contains a grand quantity of "Goldings" hops. Its colour is intensely golden and offers earthy and sweet scents. In palate, strong bitter hop notes mixed with fresh and spicy notes.

Nice retro bottle. Pours to a slightly hazy amber with a finger thick but long lasting head. Unobtrusive nose, not very fruity, bit of caramel and vague oranginess. In the mouth, caramel and soft hoppiness. Long lasting hoppiness although not at all bitter. More like a session pale ale. Drinkable and balanced but a bit watery boring.

Implemented new rating system to be more consistent so from now scores may be bit lower. Smell- weak some hops. Foam- Thin, large in mouth, some weak bitter notes, upon opening of bottle foam goes out already. Head is large, sticky, white, creamy yellow color. Appearance- weak hay, orange amber. Taste- weak bitter noes, weak citrus, feels easy drinking. Some hops bitterness in background.

MAR-2019. Clear amber. The aroma is full of cooked fruit quince jam, some caramel/toffee, flowery notes resembling sweet flowers like Jasmine or elder flowers. Similar taste with those sweet flowery notes - these feel a bit artificial, to be honest. The malts are on the sweeter side too. Light bitterness. Not impressive, even by British old school standards.

500ml bottle. Pours a hazy orange-copper with a medium, frothy, long lasting, off-white head that laces. Sweet aroma of biscuit malt, caramel, red apple, honey and floral hops. Sweet flavour of toasted biscuit malt, caramel, lemon, orange peel, red apple and bitter grass with a dry, mild bitter, floral hop finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. A smooth, easy drinking, old-school ipa.
