Piana srednia kremowo brazowa.

On tap @ Amundsen. Black body with a small beige head. A bit light but nice aroma of dark malt, fruit and liquorice. Flavor has sweet, dark malt, toast, salt liquorice and balanced bitterness. Medium body and a fine aftertaste with a bit more bitterness than first impression. Nice, tasty and very quaffable beer. Alcohol is well hidden.

24.05.2013, tap @ Amundsen Bryggeri & Spiseri:
Small creamy shortlasting cocoa colored head. Aroma is lots of salty raw licorice, caramel, dark malts, coffee, cocoa. Taste is slightly sweet, raw licorice, cocoa, grass, some alcohol, dark malts, hay, unripe banana. Medium bitterness, a little dry mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Bottle from Cervezorama 2.0, Madrid, batch L 2381, bb 30/09/13
Black color, with small head. Very nice aroma; bread and leather, with some dark chocolate, roasted malt and tobacco; hint of Bourbon. The mouthfeel is quite round, although it’s relatively dry for this kind of beer; very good flavor of chocolate with some roasted malt, light leather, light grain sourness, liquorice; correct bitterness. In the final (bitter and dryish) there is also a light milky note.
Very good.

Purchased at La Cave a la Bulles in Paris, FR; enjoyed at home on a cool spring Saturday while watching baseball. Appearance is a dark black with a thin white head that rims around the glass. Aroma of roasted, bitter chocolate malt, I’m also getting a very faint mint aroma, maybe a little bit of coffee, smell is very nice. Taste is lightly bitter and goes down dry with roasted chocolate malt notes, not much carbonation. Pretty good stuff!

BBE 30.09.13 - Pours pitch black with a tiny white head. Aroma of roasted malts, sweet chocolate, cocoa and hints of coffee. Taste is sweetish, malty and roasty with some hints of cocoa and chocolate. Finish is warming, malty and slightly roasty with some cocoa notes. Okay, quite malty and sweetish porter.

Pours black with a small, dark tan head.Nose shows roasted malt, oats, faint coffee. Not particularly complex but pleasant nonetheless.Flavours include dark chocolate, heavy roast and a little booze.Again, not particularly interesting.Could use a fair bit more carbonation.
