Bottle. Appearance is almost black, a huge foamy beige head which hangs around. Aroma is big roasty malt, chocolate, milky coffee, fruity hints. Taste- big coffee and chocolate, lots of espresso bitterness, bitter clingy chocolatey finish, malty backbone, hint of burnt toast, smooth and a bit oily in the mouth. Very tasty indeed.

At a tasting, small stable creamy head, deep beige head, quite opaque dark brown colour, strong aroma of aromatic hops, charred wood with hints of soy, pine, light aromatic coffee and cocoa, flavour of intense dark chocolate, cocoa and a shrubby bitterness with just a hint of sweetness. Suprisingly hoppy and extremely enjoyable.
