Bottle at home, black beer,, small brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate. Taste is roasted malt, heavy on the chocolate, some boozyness. dry bitter chocolate aftertaste. very nice

Very dark brown. Very phenolic, nail polish, paint, very sticky, barrely, quite a lot of that burnt sugar. The phenols are downplayed on the tongue, but overall quite rough.

Botella 65 cl tomada en el momento en el kraken 17..01..2016. Belgian Imperial rusian stout. Color negro con poca espuma beige oscura. Aromas y sabores intensos maltosos con caramelos tostados típico de las dobles y quadruples belgas con tonos eso sí más quemados y ligeramente más amargos algo secos. Cuerpo medio a intenso con gran sensación alcohólica algo seca 11.8 vol. No está mal.....pero demasiado belga.

Pours a very dark brown brew, with a thin espresso-like head that disappears quite quickly. Smells of dark cherries, almonds, cocoa, dark chocolate, roasted malts, vanilla and alcohol. Tastes like dark chocolate, milk chocolate, cherry brandy, coffee and vanilla. The alcohol is a bit overwhelming after the drink gets too warm, but before that happens, it is quite alright. Smooth mouthfeel, hot and bitter aftertaste.

Black and oily. Quite a sweet aroma with some hints of banana. Bittersweet dark malts and some sweeter, fruity notes too.

Bottle - Dark sweet Woody malts. Jet black brown with no head. Lots of burnt sugar, dark Woody notes. Tons of flavor, no booze and a long malty, smoky Woody finish.

Bottle thanks to hubsluvsbeer: Poured a black with brown head. Aroma is mild coffee and sweet to the nose. Taste was caramel malts, sweet, yet offset by coffee.

Bottle from De Hopduvel. Dark brown/black colour, dark foam. Soft carbonation. Sweet nose of chocolate and liquorice. Notes of coffee and caramel. Very sweet and alcoholic. Light bitter aftertaste. Ok.

Lots of chocolate and sweetened liquor, caramelized malt. Oily and syrupy consistency. Pours black with great head and lacing. Bittersweet finish. Pretty good, but not my type of imperial stout. Some oak hints. Bottle.
